Help, I’m getting gravity errors! What should I do?

First of all, don’t panic! Just follow these steps:

  • Make sure you have the all-in-one download installed.
  • Run the ForsakenRO Patcher and make sure you are fully patched!
  • Try running the game again and test if you still error.
  • If you still error download the small patch from here and install it into your RO folder.
  • Run the ForsakenRO Patcher.
  • Try running the game again and test if you still error.
  • If you still error after this, create a topic at the Help desk section of our forums and explain when exactly you error.

Optional: If you error after warping to a specific map and the above steps do not help you can reset your character’s position at the control panel as a temporary fix.

Help, I’m getting LUA errors! What should I do?

Again, don’t panic! Just follow these steps:

  • Download this file.
  • Extract it into your RO folder and overwrite all
  • Go in-game and see if you still error.
  • If you still error log on to a different character and type /hoai (for homunculus) or /mirai (for mercenary)
  • Log back into your Alchemist/Biochemist and your homunculus/mercenary should now work!

Help, When I start the game it closes immediately with no error message!

This means you have not yet set up your setup.exe. Follow these steps:

  • Go to your RO folder
  • Open the setup application by double clicking it.
  • At the top bar select your graphic card
  • Select the resolution that you want (Always pick one lower or equal to your current resolution, not higher).
  • Press OK.
  • Right click your setup application and click run as administrator.
  • Select the resolution that you want (Always pick one lower or equal to your current resolution, not higher).
  • Press OK.
  • Start the game by double clicking FkenRO.exe
  • Your client should now work.

Optional: On windows 8 make sure you disable full screen mode at the setup as full screen mode does not cooperate with windows 8 very well.

Help, My patcher won’t work!

It is possible that after an update our patcher runs into some trouble updating specific files, in that case follow these steps :

  • Go to this download page and download the Small Patch. (The small patch gets updated after each update we do and includes the newest server-side files.)
  • Install the small patch into your RO folder.
  • Run the ForsakenRO patcher. It should now be fully updated.
  • If step 1+2+3 do not work you can download the manual patch here. Be aware that the manual patch on the forums might take a bit longer to get updated compared to the files on the mentioned download page in step 1.
  • Extract the manual patch into your RO folder and overwrite all.
  • Run the ForsakenRO patcher. It should now be fully updated.
  • Play the game with the new updates!
